At Pherrus Financial Services in Sydney, our commitment to our community goes beyond financial solutions.

We care about making a difference where it matters.

That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF) to support sick kids and their families during their toughest moments.

Through donations and initiatives like City2Surf, we’re raising vital funds to provide life-changing care, treatments, and support for these little troopers.

Every child deserves the chance to heal—and we’re determined to help make that happen, one donation and one step at a time.

Pherrus and the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation: A Partnership for Better Healthcare

The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation (SCHF)  is one of Australia’s biggest and most trusted children’s health charities.

To provide sick kids with access to the best possible healthcare, the SCHF relies on donations from generous individuals and businesses like Pherrus.

In the SCHF’s Impact Report for the 2024 financial year, we’re honoured to be listed among other donors whose $10,000-$49,999 contributions helped reach record-breaking fundraising amounts.

Going the Extra Mile: Pherrus’ Involvement in City2Surf

The City2Surf Fun Run has been raising money for charities since 1971.

One of those charities is the SCHF, with funds raised from City2Surf directly benefitting the children the SCHF looks after.

The Pherrus team is also committed to helping the SCHF by supporting City2Surf.

By dollar-matching donations made to City2Surf runners, we contributed to raising an epic $670,000 for the SCHF!

The Impact of Pherrus Supporting Sick Kids in Sydney and Beyond

At Pherrus, we believe in “making money matter”, so we happily contribute to the SCHF’s initiatives to provide the best possible healthcare and support for sick children.

We hope to inspire other local businesses to donate, too.

Together, our community-driven efforts can create a positive ripple effect of hope, relief, and strength for sick kids and the families that support them.

Exactly what do our Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation donations help achieve?

In the 2024 financial year, the SCHF allocated over $52 million to support paediatric healthcare across New South Wales and beyond.

They directed $36.5 million to advance clinical care, $10.9 million to drive groundbreaking research, and $4.6 million to improve the patient experience for sick kids and their families.
